Deciphering Stitches: how to read your knitting Class!
Reading your knitting is understanding how your stitches create texture. We're going to take a deep dive. First, we'll get acquainted with the anatomy of the stitch then expand our view to read the stitches in the fabric. Open to all skill levels. Beginners may learn additional skills such as laddering down/up and chart reading. Participants will need to bring a flat swatch in stockinette stitch on the needles (not bound off). Please use a bulky weight, single ply yarn in a solid, light color. Avoid fuzzy or chenille yarn, so we can easily see individual stitches. Recommend size for swatch: 3 x 3 inches (7.5 x 7.5 cm) minimum. Will also need a crochet hook in a similar size as the needles.
Hosted by Diana Ricketts with Magic Hour Knits
Cost is $50. Class limitied to 15 people.
